The MGM Tour’s “Club Championship”
• COURSE: Monterey Park Golf Club plays host to the 24th Tour Championship. Once famous (or infamous) for hosting the Masters night-time qualifier the course is an interesting choice for this year’s edition. It last saw the Tour in 2015 in what was the final Masters Qualifier. Some golfers, though, haven’t seen the course since even further back: Doug Vargas (2007), Eric Stolz (2009), Walter Vargas (2010). The field will play the 9-hole course twice.
• CHECK IN TIME: Saturday November 7, 7:15
• FIELD: Defending champion Gerry Vaughan (19-hcp), Eric Stolz (26-hcp), Tim Joe (10-hcp), Walter Vargas (10-hcp), Dominic Gonzales (10-hcp), Doug Vargas (10-hcp).
In the event of a tie, the following tie break will be placed into effect: combined low gross holes 10 and 18. If still tied, low gross hole 2; still tied, 12; still tied 1. Winner, as is tradition, receives his green fees.
