VARGAS LEADS, GONZALES IMPRESSES
5 pars and a birdie powered Walter Vargas to the top of the leaderboard after the first round of the season-opening South Bay Challenge. He leads Tour newcomer Dominic Gonzales by a single stroke. Gonzales impressed in his debut , and if his round is any indication of what the Tour can expect from him, he will have them looking over the shoulders. The tournament concludes on the 23rd with the final 2 rounds at Westdrift Golf.
